- Karen Witemeyer was awarded two Will Rogers Medallions for excellence in western literature. Cloaked in Beauty won the bronze medallion for Western Romance and If the Boot Fits won the gold medallion for Western Romance.
- Lenora Worth’s book, The X-Mas Club (a sweet romance from Tule Publishing), has been made into a Lifetime movie. “The Christmas Cookbook” will air on Friday December 5th at 10:00 EST.
- Cathy McDavid’s book, Deadly Secrets, took second place in The Carla Contest – Crown Jewel of Books Award.
- Jill Dewhurst’s book, Heidi’s Faith, won the Will Rogers Medallion Award Gold Medal for Western Inspirational Fiction and an Angel Award for Historical Fiction.
- Angela Breidenbach would like to announce that the GS Books imprint has launched from the International Institute of Genealogical Studies. She’s the publisher for books related to genealogy. The first nonfiction book, The Genealogist’s Guide: Latin to English Terminology & Abbreviations, released on November 7th Nov as a tool to decode Latin in documents throughout history and the world.
- Dana R. Lynn has signed a contract for a romantic suspense with Sunrise Publishing and has also signed a contract with Guideposts to write a cozy mystery.
- Megan Besing has signed two new book contracts, one with Love Inspired and the other with Two Dogs Publishing.
- Patience O’Brien’s novella, Heart of Honor, Hearts of the West, Book 3 won Third Place in the Angel Awards, Novella Category.
- Donna Wichelman’s book, Gilded Age Romance, A Song of Deliverance, won Second Place in the 2025 Angel Book Awards category for Historical Fiction.
- Lynn Watson’s book, Frayed Promises, won 2nd Place in the Wholesome Romance Fiction Category and Christian Historical Fiction Category in The BookFest® awards.
- Denise M. Colby’s debut novel, When Plans Go Awry, won 3rd place in the OCRW 2025 Book Buyers Best Awards in the Historical Romance category, the book cover for A Slight Change of Planswon Best Genre in the OCRW 2025 Cover Contest.
- Tracy Del Campo was honored to win the ACFW VA Crown Award in the Historical/Historical Romance category.
- Heidi McCahan signed a 5-book contract with Sunrise Publishing for a new series set in Alaska, and her latest release with Love Inspired called Lost Alaskan Memories is a Publishers Weekly Bestseller.
- Lori DeJong’s novella, Jingle Bell Matchmakers, part of A Match Made at Christmas novella collection, won First Place in the Angel Awards Novella Category, her novel, Love’s True Measure, won Second Place in the Contemporary Category, and her novel, Love’s True Home, received Honorable Mention.
