Hilton Phoenix Airport hotel
Earlybird Registration is open until May 31
If you attended (or even heard about) last year’s FHLCW’s in-person conference, you know you will be in for a good time at the 2024 conference. Whether you are writing your first book or your hundredth book, you will find community, inspiration, and valuable publishing insight during this writer-focused weekend. Headlining our conference are bestselling authors Susan Meissner and Dani Pettrey, two amazing women with the industry experience to take your writing to the next level and the passion to fill your soul in the process. Our seasoned workshop speakers will give you tools and tips to guide your craft, your marketing, and your career. By making an advance appointment, you’ll also have the opportunity to pitch your ideas to our editors and agents. And, as if that wasn’t enough, we have some special touches like a visit from a mobile Crime Lab, a book-swap station and a Faith-in-Fiction panel comprised of authors who have had their faith tested during their careers.
You won’t want to miss a minute of this conference. So, take advantage of our early-bird registration rates. $199 plus a $25 non-refundable processing fee gets you the conference and most of your meals. Use the Registration button below to register.
Plus, A Big Bonus for Registering Early!
Everyone who registers for the conference during the early registration period (now through May 31) will have the opportunity to be entered to win a prize valued at $1,200.
Multi-award-winning author and editor Pegg Thomas is offering a substantive edit for a manuscript of up to 85k words to one of our early-bird registrants who attends the in-person conference (roughly a $1,200 value). Pegg has won the Selah Award and the FHLRCA, having multiple finals in both as well as the ACFW Carol Awards, and was a finalist for the 2019 ACFW Editor of the Year Award. She’s also had multiple clients who have been named finalists and winners of awards. Pegg graduated from the PEN Institute’s 400-Level Fiction Editing Book Camp and worked as the Managing Editor of Smitten Historical Romance for 3 1/2 years.
Be sure to opt-in to this fabulous giveaway on your registration form. The winner will be announced at the conference in Phoenix. You must attend the conference to be eligible for the prize. If you win, you’ll have up to one year to claim your manuscript edit, so you’ll have plenty of time to get your work-in-progress polished and ready. Prize must be claimed by October 1, 2025.
