- Robin Lee Hatcher received some delightful contest news over the past month. Her novella, To Enchant a Lady’s Heart, is a finalist in the Heart Awards, sponsored by the Oklahoma Romance Writers Guild, in the Novella category. In addition, her biblical novel about the Queen of Sheba, The Beginning of Wisdom: Bilqis’s Story, is a finalist in the Faith, Hope, & Love Reader’s Choice Award in the Short Historical category.
- A Family for the Orphans by Heidi Mann is a finalist in the short novel category for the Faith, Hope & Love Christian Writers Reader’s Choice Award.
- Center Point by Nancy J. Farrier won first place in the New England Reader’s Choice Award in the Romance with Religious/Spiritual Elements category.
- Dalyn Weller signed a publishing contract with Sunrise Publishing.
- Cobalt Skies and Silver Prairies by Pegg Thomas have both won a Will Rogers Medallion Award. She’ll find out if they won gold, silver, or bronze on Oct. 19th.
- Megan Besing is a finalist in ACFW ‘s Carol contest in the Romantic Suspense category with her book, Expired Hope.
- Lisa Jordan was named Line Director for Hometown Hearts, Sunrise Publishing’s new contemporary romance line that will debut in 2025.
- Lisa Jordan has been contracted to write a contemporary romance novel for one of Sunrise Publishing’s collections that will be a part of their new Hometown Hearts imprint, and it will be released in 2025.
- Sarah Hamaker won a HOLT Medallion from the Virginia Romance Writers in the Best Book by a Virginia Author for The Dark Reckoning, book three in her Cold War Legacy series.
- Carrie Turansky’s English dual-time novel, The Legacy of Longdale Manor, is a finalist for the ACFW Carol Award in the historical romance category. The winner will be announced at the ACFW National Conference in New Orleans in September.
- Laura Conner Kestner is excited to announce that her book, Fair Haven, is among the medallion winners in the inspirational category of the Will Rogers Medallion Awards. Rankings to be announced in October.
- Danielle Grandinetti’s historical romance, Confessions to a Stranger, is a finalist in the Daphne du Maurier historical mystery/suspense category.
- Sami Abrams is a finalist in the novella category of the Carols. She’s also a finalist in the short novel category for the Daphnes.
- Betsy St. Amant Haddox just signed a stand-alone Christmas rom-com contract with Waterbrook for a Christmas 2025 release.
- Kerry Johnson’s May Love Inspired Suspense release, Hidden Mountain Secrets, was #6 on the Publishers Marketplace Mass Market Bestseller List.
- Jennifer Looft’s book, The Baker’s Batter, was the winner of the Carolyn Readers’ Choice Award (Contemporary Romance/Low Heat Category) sponsored by the North Texas Romance Writers. It’s her debut book, and she is so honored to know readers enjoyed it!
