- Lindy Jacobs is a semifinalist in the 2024 American Christian Fiction Writers Genesis Contest in the Contemporary Romance category. Finalists will be announced at the annual ACFW Conference in New Orleans on September 5th.
- Dana R. Lynn had two books final in the inspirational category of the Maggie Awards: Crime Scene Witness and Hunted At Christmas.
- Mary Vee signed a contract with Guideposts. Her short story “Forty Minutes” will be included in their new book series called God’s Constant Presence. This is her first time working with Guideposts.
- Her One in a Million by Rachelle Dio has placed fifth in the Inspirational Novel category of the 2024 National Excellence in Story Telling (NEST) Contest.
- Karin Beery’s debut nonfiction book, How to Edit Your Novel: Practical Tips for Strengthening Your Story, is a finalist in the Golden Scroll Awards. (It won the nonfiction Selah award earlier this year.) Her novel Finally Forever is a finalist in the Christian Market Book Awards.
- Deborah Raney was thrilled to learn that her novella Playing for Keeps is a finalist for the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association’s Golden Scroll Awards. Winners will be announced in August.
- Justice Delayed by Sarah Hamaker is a finalist in the 2024 AWSA Golden Scrolls. Two of Sarah’s books also finaled in the Christian Market Book Awards: Justice Delayed and The Dark Reckoning.
- Marie Wells Coutu’s WIP Shifting Currents is a finalist in the Prepublished Maggie Awards, inspirational romance, sponsored by Georgia Romance Writers.
- She’s The One by Kelli Kornelsen is a Maggie Awards Inspirational, Pre-published finalist. It’s her first time as a finalist.
- Christina Rich’s A Family for the Twins won FHL’S Reader’s Choice Award in the short historical category.
- Cindy Stewart’s novel, Abounding Hope, has finaled for the Christian Market Book Award.
- Teri Wilson signed a new three-book contract with Harlequin Special Edition for a series of sweet football romances set in small-town Texas, where football is king, featuring a bad-boy NFL quarterback who rolls into town to temporarily take over the high school coach position.
- Kelly Goshorn signed a contract with Barbour Publishing for a historical romance novel to release in August 2025.
- Bonnie Woodward is a finalist in the Georgia Romance Writers Maggie Awards in the Inspirational Romance category (pre-published) for her novel His Best Friend’s Widow.
- Lori Altebaumer’s short story “The Last Parade” won its category in the Cascade Christian Writers Contest. Her novel The Wilderness of Sin placed second in its category.
- Chris Maday Schmidt recently received a 5-star reader review in the 2024 Readers’ Favorite Book Reviews and Award Contest for her debut Love Inspired novel, A Father’s Vow, which was released in April.
