Congratulations to our members on their achievements
- Midnight Blue by Suzie Waltner is a Maggie Award finalist in the inspirational romance category.
- Sherry Shindelar signed a three-book contract with Wild Heart Books, her first book contract ever. She’s also a semi-finalist in the Genesis Contest, and was selected as a finalist in the Pre-Published RWA Maggie Award in the inspirational category. (However, she was declared ineligible to continue in the contest since she’d recently signed a book contract. It’s still good news!)

- Carol James signed a contract for a Christmas novella titled The Hope of Christmas, set to release on December 1, 2023.
- Belle Calhoune’s book, An Alaskan Christmas Promise, is a finalist in the Maggie Awards, sponsored by Georgia Romance Writers.
- Robin Lee Hatcher was thrilled to learn that her dual-time novel, I’ll Be Seeing You, won the FHL Reader’s Choice Award in the women’s fiction category. This novel had an unusual journey from idea through writing and editing, and thus it feels even more special that readers (and reader judges) have embraced it so warmly. She sends her thanks to her agent of 34 years, Natasha Kern, and her editor at Thomas Nelson, Laura Wheeler.
