News for February

News February 15, 2024

Congratulations to our members on their achievements!

  • Barbara M. Britton has signed a contract for Escape to Whispering Creek with Pelican Book Group. Escape to Whispering Creek is the sequel to the Readers’ Choice Award Finalist–Christmas at Whispering Creek. The release is scheduled for fall of 2024.
  • Chris Maday Schmidt recently signed a contract with Guideposts to deliver a full-length story to be published in Held in His Hand—one of six books in the God’s Constant Presence nonfiction series. “Blessings from Mountaintop to Valley” features a season charged with danger and emotional strife in which the hand of the Lord held and protected her throughout. “Strong and Courageous,” a previously contracted story, will also appear in Guideposts’ new book, Exploring God’s Promises: Hope. It follows her family’s account of God’s promise fulfilled in the midst of trauma and uncertainty after her husband was hit by a drunk driver and resuscitated at the scene.
  • Lenora Worth, along with Betsy St Amant and Morgan Tarpley Smith, made the number eight spot on the ECPA Bestseller list with their novella collection, A Louisiana Christmas to Remember. They were all thrilled to hear this news.
  • Danielle Grandinetti is thrilled to now be represented by Lynette Eason of The Steve Laube Agency.
  • Toni Shiloh signed a Christmas book contract with Bethany House.
