We believe in the fellowship of the table and enjoy the fact that we gather together for each meal during our conference.These informal times of getting to know each other enrich us all. Following are the meals that are included with your conference fees (please note, we work to accommodate attendees who are gluten-free or have food allergies).
The meals we provide are:
Master Class attendees – Friday lunch. Caesar salad, grilled chicken fettucine alfredo, fresh vegetables, breadsticks, light dessert, iced tea and water. Options will be available for gluten-free diners.
Friday night pizza for all attendees. We will have a pizza buffet with pepperoni and vegetarian pizza made with focaccia bread crust. Gluten-free pizza will be available for those who register as gluten-free. Dairy & gluten-free will also be available for those who request it. In addition to the pizza, there will be a green salad with a choice of salad dressings. We will have sorbet for dessert. Beverages will be water and iced tea.
Saturday morning Pastries for all (donuts and chocolate croissants)– These will be available for a continental breakfast at 9:00 (bring your own beverage). Any remaining pastries will serve as a mid-morning snack. If you want a heartier breakfast, the Rennick Restaurant (just off the hotel lobby) serves a buffet breakfast from 6 A.M. to 11 A.M. The small coffee shop off the lobby will also have grab-and-go breakfast items for sale in the morning.
Saturday Sandwich/Salad Buffet Lunch for all attendees. We will have various breads (at least one gluten-free), deli meats (turkey and ham), cheese slices, chicken salad, assorted bags of chips, and a green salad with salad dressing. Beverages will be water and iced tea. Dessert will be brownies and lemon bars. Sorbet will be provided for those who are gluten-free. Also, upon request, hard-boiled eggs will be available for those who cannot eat meat or cheese.
Saturday evening Taco Bar Dinner for all attendees – This will feature corn tortillas, chicken and ground beef, beans, rice, green salad, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, taco sauce, guacamole, and chips. Our beverages will be water and iced tea. Corn tortillas are gluten-free. Upon request, crumbled Beyond burgers are available in place of the meat options. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
Sunday Continental Breakfast for all attendees – We will have bagels with cream cheese and butter. Also, some gluten-free bread. A toaster will be provided. Water will be available, and we encourage you to bring your own coffee.
Retreat attendees – Sunday lunch. A nacho bar will be provided with corn chips, seasoned ground beef, cheese and a variety of sauces and other toppings. Iced tea and water. If needed, other options are available for those with special food requirements.
Coffee – The grab-and-go store off the lobby sells coffee in the morning. After 4:00 pm, to-go cups of coffee can be purchased from the hotel restaurant (note this is not their normal policy, but it is a special arrangement for our conference). You can also brew coffee in your hotel room (coffee packets provided). The front desk will give you extra packets. We encourage attendees to bring a thermal mug and brew their own coffee, bringing it to the conference area.
Guests are welcome at every meal for an additional fee. Those who have accompanied an attendee to the conference are also encouraged to be our guest (at no charge) for bagels and our Sunday morning worship time. (Register for Guest Meals.)
